About Cleburne Electrician: Wiring Done Down to the Last Screw

We are an electrical contractor working in homes around Cleburne, and most of what we care about is small: a lug torqued to its listed value, a wire stripped to the right length, a panel directory you can actually read. Those details decide how long the work lasts.

Why We Work the Way We Do

Most electrical failures we get called to are not dramatic. A backstabbed receptacle that loosened after years of plugs going in and out. A neutral that was never fully tightened at the bar. A splice in an attic with no junction box around it. Each one started as a shortcut that saved a few minutes on install day.

So we build our jobs around the opposite habit. We land conductors on screw terminals or rated clamp-style devices instead of push-in holes. We torque breaker lugs and neutral bar screws with a calibrated driver to the manufacturer's spec, because a connection that is too loose heats up and one that is too tight can crush strands. On aluminum conductors we clean the wire and apply antioxidant compound where the lug calls for it.

None of this shows once the cover goes back on, which is why we take photos before it does. You see what we found, what we changed and how the finished work looks, explained in plain terms. Sometimes the right answer is a small fix that will last for years. Other times a part is worn out, and the photos point to exactly where the damage is so the decision makes sense to you.

How a Job Runs With Us

Diagnosis before parts

We test with a meter, and a thermal camera where it helps, before recommending anything. A tripping breaker can be a worn breaker, a failing appliance or a loose connection three rooms away, and each one needs a different fix.

Connections made to spec

Torque values, strip lengths, box fill and cable clamps all have numbers behind them, and we follow them on every termination, from a single outlet to a panel upgrade. If the work calls for a permit, we file for it before the first wire is cut and arrange the required inspection with the local authority.

Outdoor work built for the weather

Outside your home, we put in-use covers on exterior receptacles, seal conduit entries and form drip loops where conductors enter. Long Texas summers bake gaskets and PVC, so we choose fittings and placement with sun exposure in mind.

A panel you can read later

Every circuit we touch gets labeled in the panel directory by room and load, not just "lights." The next person who opens that door, including you, should know what each breaker feeds.
